K.P. Yohannan speaks to you through thought-provoking and challenging messages taken straight from his teachings and books, which have been an inspiration to thousands of audiences around the world.
A Mighty Minority
God isn't looking for the best of the best or those most qualified to get things done He is looking for the few who will follow Him at any cost. He is looking for the mighty minority.
In John 6 Jesus was hungry weary and tired yet He was so moved by the poor broken and needy that His physical needs no longer mattered. His mind was never on Himself it was on others. Jesus gave us a beautiful example of how we are supposed to think and live.
We are ,nded by the King of kings to go and make disciples of all nations ?to preach the Good News whether the time is favorable or not. The Bible tells us that we are not even promised the next minute so how can we stay knowing that half the world has not heard about Christ We can't keep this joy to ourselves but should share it with the world. What will you do
The afflictions we face are nothing compared to the glory that will be revealed when Christ returns. Don't waste life serving yourself otherwise you will never be truly satisfied. Mission work only makes sense when we understand His glory and where we will spend eternity. This message from K.P. Yohannan gets you to think about what we should be doing.
In this message K.P. Yohannan warns us to avoid getting so familiar with the blessings of God that we begin to take them for granted. We need to remain trusting the Lord knowing He is all we have.
K.P. Yohannan continues part 2 of his message and encourages us to realize how desperate we are for Christ and that we are to be consistently growing in Him not being stagnant.
The conclusion to feeling better is to bless others and take our minds off of ourselves. Open up your life and be a blessing to others. As God directs our hearts we will be surprised how He uses it. Start thinking of how we can bless to others. Make a list of names with all the people you have difficulty with and ask yourself "is there any good about them" Allow the Holy Spirit to work in you and bless them.
Bitterness is defined as: a deep seeded anger hatred resentment towards someone or something that may have mistreated us taken away our rights whether real or unreal. It is an emotional response to unresolved conflicts. Not handling the pain/resentment biblically causes the seed of bitterness to take root and grow. Are you living with bitterness
Growing up in a small village in South India Dr. K.P. Yohannan began his spiritual journey at the age of eight when he gave his life to Christ. His godly mother fasted and prayed each week for God to call one of her six boys to serve the Lord.
We are called to be doers of the Word, not just hearers. Going into the nations and making disciples. Jesus came to serve, not be served&m-;so what should we be doing? Everything we do, as believers, should be out of an eagerness to serve the Lord---not out of guilt or to be religious. We should have passion behind what we do for the Lord. We live in a fallen world and as believers how can we expect to know Him if we live selfishly? We need to share the hope that only He can give with others---it is meant for everyone, not just us.
In this message, K.P Yohannan continues to talk about our mission to serve; to reach out to the lost children and tell them about Jesus. “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.” (Luke 19:10) This is what we are called to do.
K.P. Yohannan shares from John 1:14 in this devotional on the meaning of Christmas. He says, "The mystery of godliness is great, that He became flesh. And that is the uniqueness of Christmas. The God who was distant and separated . . . finally we can approach Him. We have seen His glory!"
Christ's Call: Follow My Footsteps is a call to higher commitment. In this 41-minute video K.P. Yohannan challenges us to follow in Christs footsteps - steps that will deliver us from our self-centeredness and cause us to impact the lost millions in our generation.
This message by K.P. Yohannan share's that "it's not about me"?. We are called to live for Christ. There are too many people in the world who are lost starving and have no idea who Jesus is. Let's do what Jesus did and reach out to the lowest of low.
A continuation of K.P. Yohannan's passion for the lost. As a Christian we need to step up to the plate do what Christ has called us to do. Go and make disciples of all the nations whether out on the field or giving towards missions. Let's step up to the plate and reach this world.
Humility has nothing to do with our outside appearance. Many people think humility is looking sad being last all the time or walking around with a woe is me' attitude. K.P. Yohannan says that God looks at our attitude and heart condition it's an inward thing. God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. We need to clothe ourselves with His humility and consider others better than ourselves. Remaining humble and broken is key.
In part 2 of his message K.P. Yohannan continues his teaching to embrace the very many trials that come your way because Jesus did and we are to live like Him.
If Hell is not real then God and the Bible are not either. If Hell is eternal so is heaven and those who do not know Jesus Christ will spend their eternity in hell. They will be tortured for all of eternity but they will never die. Does this bother us As believers what are we doing to help those who do not know the good news of Christ Download this message from K.P. Yohannan.
K.P Yohannan challenges us with the fact that this life is not meant for us! Blood was the price He paid for my life therefore it is His. The Lord has given us a higher calling for our lives so that by our lives and commitment to Him we can win souls to Christ. Having a supreme love for the Lord is key above all else all the distractions in this world friends and family He needs to be number one. He showed the perfect example of what true genuine love is why can't we do that for him
All trials and sufferings are so light compared to the glory that is to be revealed. It seems foreign to us we cannot understand it with our human minds but scripture says our minds cannot understand the things of God. We are to trust Him in His word and obey His ,nds that tell us to go and make disciples of the nations!
We live in a world where people often don't show their appreciation for anything we do for them. Through these experiences we can understand what Christ went through very few times did He get recognized for anything He did. There are many reasons like this for discouragement but Jesus promises that He will be with us until the end of the age. When we do mess up we should repent right away and move forward not dwelling on the past. He is always faithful.
John says if we love Jesus we will obey His ,nds but are we willing to do that He tells us to love and serve each other do we Or do we get so caught up in ourselves that the billions who have never heard of Jesus doesn't break our hearts. Jesus sacrificed Himself for us. What we can do though is show Him how much we love Him in our everyday life by obeying listening and doing what His Word tells us to do.
"You must not build the foundation while the storm hits you must build it before."? K.P. encouraged us with this word of advice. As His followers we need to be consistently allowing the Word of God to fill our hearts and be a rock for us in good times and bad.
"Whatever the Lord gives to you give it away. You want to be blessed bless others."? -K.P Yohannan in this message K.P. Yohannan encourages us to trust God and stand on His promises that He gives us in His word.
We have a problem with Christianity today the focus is not on others and the work of the Lord but it is on ourselves. K.P. Yohannan challenges us with this question: "What does it mean to be like Jesus"? How many of us will actually take time and intercede for the nations Weep over the unreached world and seek to do something to help aide in the Gospel being preached How many of us will take a day or two and fast and pray for the lost Like the scriptures say we are to come and follow Jesus live like Him and what He lived for.
There are 160 million child labours in India. Consider one thing John 3:16 "He loved the world" not just the United States we need to take that into consideration and realize we are obligated to help them. We represent the body of Christ what did He do when He was down here on earth
As Christians what are we supposed to be doing Listen to these two messages about investing in the harvest. When we are out doing the work that Christ has called us to do we impact the lives of others. It may not seem like we are doing anything at the time but our home is not here on earth. Jesus said live for things that will not perish. God is eternal so live for Him.
What hinders us from becoming radical and having a dedicated committed heart for the Lord K.P. Yohannan says it's the simple fact that we are just consumed with ourselves. Jesus came here knowing He was going to die. That shows how we need to embrace our sufferings. It's not about dying and being beaten it's about our heart. Are we willing to die or be persecuted for our Lord Are we willing to do anything for Him
K.P. Yohannan tells us that we have lost the God of the New Testament. We make everything complicated and full of doctrines instead of just following the Lord and allowing Him to lead and guide us. God is looking to use a mighty minority and to show Himself strong!
God is not looking for perfect people who know every answer but honest simple people He can show Himself mighty on their behalf is what K.P. Yohannan tells us. The safest thing in the entire world is just to follow Him and learn more of Him. The key to all we dream about is Jesus.
Jesus came to seek and save the lost is that our agenda In the west we have 14 different Christian radio programs churches on every street corner and so many copies of the bible! What more do we possible need when HALF the world has none of these things. It is one thing to maintain our convictions it's another thing to actually act on them.
K.P. Yohannan says "The more you want to become like Him the more the cross becomes tangible and painful".? Through accepting the pain and suffering we become more like Him. Jesus Christ is calling for no less of a commitment than what He had with His Father. Jesus' life was based on prayer fasting and being in constant communion with The Father ours should be too.
K.P Yohannan shares with us the reality of Gods love. Have you ever thought of the fact that God loves YOU. He gave Himself for you shouldn't it make us wonder who this God is We are encouraged to get alone and think about this marvelous love that was bestowed upon us. He took our sins and laid them upon Himself. He did not condemn us and He does not regret what He did. How can we not accept this perfect agape love How can we forget
K.P. Yohannan challenges us with a question where are you in your walk with the Lord What is our daily response to this amazing unending perfect love Will we choose to accept Him and quit rejecting Him so we can have this beautiful intimacy with Jesus For those of us who have been walking with the Lord for quite some time do we live in light of His perfect love or are we forgetting and going our own ways
Our Christian walk is like being in a classroom everyday. It take humility to realize that we are always learning, and that His grace is sufficient when we fail, despite the circumstances we find ourselves in.
Making the decision to follow after Christ is a daily thing not saying a prayer one time and that is it it is much more than that. Nothing is easy we need to choose to do whatever it takes for the sake of reaching the lost. You as a follower of Christ you cannot have an intimate relationship with the Creator if you have a self-centered life that only revolves around you.
The biggest crisis in the average church today is lack of knowing the living God. Not many know God because they don't spend time in prayer getting to know Him and actually listening for His voice. We will never know Him or His ways until we get away from all the noise and seek Him. "The most significant thing in life is to seek God and know Him." K.P. Yohannan.
True Christianity is lived out by being fully committed to living for Jesus. Mere bible knowledge is not going to make you know Him but saying good bye to our comforts and sacrificing our time and life for Him will help us to know Him.
Our prayer to Jesus should be "Lord set me free from myself". We are our own worst enemy. The devil is out there yes but sometimes we blame him for everything when in reality it's us who are the problem! Choosing inconveniences difficulties and the rough road because we love Him is such a wonderful thing to do. The more we come to know Jesus it should be our fuel to do and tell others who do not know the Lord about Him-His love is that great!
Unless we experience holiness in everything we do we will never see and hear from the Lord of glory. The Father says that as He sent his Son Jesus so He also sends us His disciples. A few applications are given to us that will help us and encourage us to live for eternity and forsake the love of ourselves and this world. We can impact eternity right where we are at…so will we
This message depicts the need to live in the Spirit and not in the flesh as you are serving in leadership. By continuing to serve the Lord and submitting yourself to Him, you will adopt the attitude needed as a leader.
When we obey the Lord we become friends of the God of the Universe. Stop and think about that. God does not owe us an explanation. We listen because He is the Lord and we fear Him. It is not knowledge that changes things but a radical lifestyle. By taking the focus off ourselves we draw closer to the Lord and have a joy that surpasses all understanding.
Do you talk too much and not put it action As we walk fully devoted to Christ our children will follow and walk with us. Not by forcing our values on them but Christ will open their eyes if we are really following His ways. His ways are in His Word. We are to seek Him in every decision we make. What is holding you back from the commitment to follow Christ with all your heart Surrender it all making your life so much more joyful. This life is temporary and nothing compared to where you will spend eternity.
God is looking for those who are willing to commit themselves completely to Him. Anyone even those in ministry can miss' Christ because they aren't depending on Him. Everything we do must be in dependence on the Lord. We need the Holy Spirit He has given us. It is more than necessary in the Christian walk.
We are supposed to do everything as if unto the Lord. When you are cleaning your bathroom cooking dinner or doing assignments do you actually do it as if you were cleaning the Lord's bathroom or making dinner for Him Half of us don't.
The Only thing that matters is Jesus Himself and He wants to be the most important thing in our lives. Ps 73:25 says "Whom have I in heaven, but you and I desire nothing on earth but you?" He needs to be our everything because He is everything.
We need to be willing to forsake all for the sake of Christ. Yes it is not easy, but in His word it says that the JOY of the Lord is our strength. We have to stop comparing our lives with someone else, and compare our lives to the One who lived the most perfect example for us.
For us to experience the supernatural intervention of God, such as answers to prayer we must have faith. The amount of Bible knowledge will not help us, we need the faith to believe God is able and He needs to be our confidence. If we can comprehend everything and can do things in our own strength, there is no need to have faith and rely on God. God wants to do more but we must believe.
Feel the passion of K.P. Yohannan as he describes the life-giving power of total commitment to Christ. Be encouraged and amazed by real life stories of missionaries who willingly risk their lives to preach the Gospel. God can and wants to use our lives in similar mighty ways if we will find our life by giving it away.
This message by K.P. Yohannan expresses the great need we have to demonstrate our love for the Lord by helping children in need throughout Asia.
“I want to do unto others not out of guilt or shame but because I love my Lord. How can I say I love someone with my words yet show no action of love?? In 1 John 3:18 Jesus says “Dear children, let's not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions” (NLT) I pray that what K.P. says, hits your heart the way it did mine.”
We are living in a culture that tells us it's all about our health wealth comfort and family. Jesus said "if anyone wants to follow me let him deny himself and pick up his cross and follow me".? It is not about us and our comforts. The Gospel is not self-centered it's Jesus-centered and this is what we need to be.
The Devil is going to try to do everything possible to wear us out until we simply want to give up and step out of this battle. We cannot make the mistake and forget that Jesus faced the same temptation but He endured and we should too because we are to follow His example.
"For all seek their own not the things which are of Christ".? - Phil 2:21. Keep in mind the Lord is calling us for radical commitment. There is a hindrance in us that keeps us from following God' ?that is we put our trust and hope merely in man not Christ. Man will in some way disappoint us but the Lord never will. We need to put our all in the One who is trustworthy and will never leave nor forsake us.
You choose the rough road hardships and uncomfortable situations becauseyou love Him. The more we come to know Jesus the more our hearts bleed for those who don't know him. How can we keep this joy to ourselves
Sometimes it feels like the pain won't go away no matter how many prayers are uttered or encouraging words are spoken to us. How can we end the pain The Lord heals the broken hearted. "I Jesus the King of Kings am here suffering with you. Praise my name because I am faithful to my promises. Don't forget who I Am and what I did for you". K.P. Yohannan
Brother K.P. Yohannan talks about making an eternal difference and taking any opportunity to share and show Christ's love. Jesus was full of compassion when He saw children suffering and people with nothing so should we. Let us be quick to obey what Jesus has ,nded us to do care for the destitute poor and needy so that we may hear His words "Well done by good and faithful servant".?
What good is all the wisdom of the Bible if you don't act on it "I don't care what I do I just want to be a part of what God is doing"? said a professor who dedicated his life to the Lord. The more we become like Jesus the more the cross becomes real to us and we walk away from the things of the world for the redemption of the world. Don't you want to hear from the God who created you and formed you with purpose
Jesus was a missionary ministering wherever He was. Children see their parents living out the gospel through fasting praying and seeking the Lord's will. In turn those children will begin to follow Christ like their parents. Life is short live according to His will and be like Jesus a missionary and an example.
