New Believers Facing Threats, Fearful

Two families that have recently come to know the Lord are being pressured by other villagers to renounce Christ.

The two families are the only Christians in their village. The opposition group threatened the believers, saying they will take their ID cards—which are needed for getting food rations—and excommunicate the two families from the village if they don’t deny Jesus.

The group has also filed a case against Gospel for Asia-supported pastor Roshan John, who has ministered to these two families, accusing him of forcibly converting people.

• Strength and faith for the families facing opposition.
• The believers to be protected from excommunication.
• Protection and wisdom for Pastor Roshan.
• The Lord to give the believers genuine love for those who are persecuting them.
• The opposition groups to understand truth and the kindness of the Lord.
